أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثٍ قَالَ

إِنِّي مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ حِينَ مَرَّ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ بِأَبِي شَبِيهُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَا شَبْهَ عَلِيٍّ وَعَلِيٌّ مَعَهُ فَجَعَلَ يَضْحَكُ

✧ I was with Abu Bakr when he passed by al-Hasan and placed him on his neck, then said: 'May my father be ransomed for the one who resembles the Prophet ﷺ, not resembling 'Ali.' And 'Ali was with him, and he began to laugh.
