✧ The Virtue of Abu Bakr and Umar

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ هُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ كَانَ فِيمَا خَلَا قِبَلَكُمْ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ نَاسٌ يُحَدِّثُونَ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ فِي أُمَّتِي هَذِهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ فَعُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Among the nations before you there were people who were inspired. If there is anyone in this nation of mine like them, it is 'Umar ibn al-Khattab."
