al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 806

✧ The prohibition of spitting in front of or to the right of a man during prayer according to the prophet ﷺ.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَكَّهَا بِحَصَاةٍ وَنَهَى أَنْ يَبْزُقَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ أَوْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَقَالَ «يَبْزُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw mucus in the qiblah direction of the mosque, so he scraped it off with a pebble and forbade a man from spitting in front of him or to his right. He said: 'Let him spit to his left or under his left foot.'
