أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللهٌ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ يَقُومُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللهُ مَالًا فَيُهْلِكُهُ فِي الْحَقِّ

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "There is no envy except in two cases: a man whom Allah has given the Qur'an and he stands with it by night and day, and a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in truth."
