حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ حَسَّانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«فُصِلَ الْقُرْآنُ مِنَ الذِّكْرِ فَوُضِعَ فِي بَيْتِ الْعِزَّةِ فِي السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَجَعَلَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَنْزِلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُرَتِّلُهُ تَرْتِيلًا» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ «خَمْسَ آيَاتٍ وَنَحْوهَا»

✧ The Qur'an was separated from the Remembrance and placed in the House of Might in the lowest heaven. Then Jibril ﷺ began to descend with it upon the Prophet ﷺ, reciting it in a measured recitation." Sufyan said: "Five verses and the like of that.
