✧ Seeking refuge from the torment of the grave

الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأنا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكْ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate, saying: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the false messiah, the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death.”
