✧ Seeking refuge from the call of the oppressed.

أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِذَا سَافَرَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ وَالْحَوْرِ بَعْدَ الْكَوْنِ وَدَعْوَةِ الْمَظْلُومِ وَسُوءِ الْمَنْظَرِ»

Translation

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ traveled, he would seek refuge from the hardship of travel, the gloom of the return, loss after gain, the supplication of the oppressed, and an evil sight.
