أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَمُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الطَّائِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ قُلْنَا لِزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ

حَدِّثْنَا بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ اللهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيِّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَنَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَعِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَدُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ أَوْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا» قَالَ هَارُونُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ بَدَلَ الْهَرَمِ الْمَغْرَمَ

✧ "Narrate to us something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, old age, the torment of the grave, and the trial of the Dajjal. O Allah, grant my soul its piety; You are the best to purify it; You are its guardian and its master. Lord, I seek refuge in You from a heart that does not humble itself, a soul that is never satisfied, knowledge that does not benefit, and a supplication that is not heard'—or 'a call that is not answered.'" Harun said in his version, instead of "old age," "debt."
