أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنْ رُؤْيَا رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الَّتِي ذَكَرَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ذُكِرَ لِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُرِيتُ أَنَّهُ وُضِعَ فِي يَدَيَّ سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَفَظَعْتُهُمَا وَكَرِهْتُهُمَا فَأُذِنَ لِي فَنَفَخْتُهُمَا فَطَارَا فَأَوَّلْتُهُمَا كَذَّابَيْنِ يَخْرُجَانِ فَقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ أَحَدُهُمَا الْعَنْسِيُّ الَّذِي قَتَلَهُ فَيْرُوزُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَالْآخَرُ مُسَيْلِمَةُ

✧ From the dream of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he mentioned. Ibn Abbas said: It was mentioned to me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "While I was sleeping, I was shown that two gold bangles were placed in my hands. I disliked them and hated them. Then I was permitted, so I blew on them and they flew away. I interpreted them as two liars who would emerge." Ubaydullah said: "One of them is al-Ansi, whom Fayruz killed in Yemen, and the other is Musaylima."
