✧ The prayer for the returning of the patient.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى الْمَرِيضَ يَدْعُو لَهُ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا»

Translation

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a sick person, he would supplicate for him: 'Remove the hardship, O Lord of mankind, and cure, for You are the Healer. There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no illness.'
