أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِا
أَنَّهُ اشْتَكَى بِمَكَّةَ فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ ادْعُ اللهَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنْ يَكْشِفَ عَنِّي فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَهُ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ اكْشِفْ عَنْ سَعْدٍ تَنْفَعُ بِهِ نَاسًا وتَضُرُّ بِهِ نَاسًا»

✧ Sa'd fell ill in Makkah, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to visit him. He said, 'Supplicate to Allah for me, O Messenger of Allah, that He remove [the illness] from me.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ supplicated for him, saying, 'O Allah, remove [the illness] from Sa'd so that through him You benefit some people and harm others.'
