✧ The Takbeer for rising

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ فَيُكَبِّرُ كُلَّمَا خَفَضَ وَرَفَعَ فَإِذَا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ «وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَشْبَهُكُمْ صَلَاةً بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

Translation

✧ That Abu Hurayrah used to lead them in prayer and he would say the takbeer every time he lowered and raised. When he finished, he said, “By Allah, I am the one among you whose prayer most resembles that of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”
