أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَيٍّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَمُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ قَالَ

«تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ وَكَانَ ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ دِينَارًا أَوْ عَشْرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ» تَابَعَهُ شَرِيكٌ عَلَى عَطَاءٍ وَمُجَاهِدٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْحَكَمَ

✧ "The hand of a thief is cut off for [stealing] the price of a shield, and the price of a shield in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was a dinar or ten dirhams." Sharik concurred with him from 'Ata' and Mujahid, and did not mention al-Hakam.
