✧ The throwing of the Mamluk

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرُّهَاوِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ هُوَ ابْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ حُسَيْنٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«مَنْ قَذَفَ مَمْلُوكَهُ كَانَ لِلَّهِ فِي ظَهْرِهِ حَدٌّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَخَذَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ عَفَا عَنْهُ»

✧ Whoever slanders his slave, there is a prescribed punishment upon his back on the Day of Resurrection; if He wills He will take it, and if He wills He will pardon him.
