وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُسلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَمَّنْ

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يُجْلَدُ فَوْقَ عَشْرِ جَلْدَاتٍ إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللهِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Bazīʿ
  2. Fuḍayl b. Sulaymān
  3. Muslim b. Abū Maryam
  4. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Jābir ʿAmman

✧ He heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “No one is to be flogged more than ten lashes except in a ḥadd from the ḥudūd of Allah.” Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Jābir—there is no harm in him.
