أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَصَابَ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ قُبْلَةً فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ {وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ} [هود 114] فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَلِي هَذِهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ «بَلْ هِيَ لِمَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ أُمَّتِي» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ

Translation

✧ A man got a kiss from a woman, so he came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. Then Allah sent down: {And establish prayer at the two ends of the day} [Hud: 114]. The man said: "Is this for me, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Rather, it is for whoever acts upon it from my Ummah." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: "This is the correct one."
