أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نُشَيْطٍ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ أَنَّ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَأَى عَوْرَةً فَسَتَرَهَا كَانَ كَمَنْ أَحْيَا مَوْءُودَةً مِنْ قَبْرِهَا»

Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “Whoever sees a private matter and conceals it is like one who revives a buried infant girl from her grave.”
