أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ النَّسَائِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ وَسَعِيدُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
أَتَى رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَنَادَاهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ الْآخِرَ زَنَا يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَتَنَحَّى يَعْنِي لِشِقِّ وَجْهِهِ الَّذِي أَعْرَضَ قِبَلَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ الْآخِرَ زَنَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَنَحَّى لِشِقِّ وَجْهِهِ الَّذِي أَعْرَضَ قِبَلَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ الْآخِرَ زَنَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَنَحَّى الرَّابِعَةَ فَلَمَّا شَهِدَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ دَعَاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «هَلْ بِكَ جُنُونٌ؟» قَالَ لَا فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اذْهَبُوا بِهِ فَارْجُمُوهُ» وَكَانَ قَدْ أُحْصِنَ

✧ A man from Aslam came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in the mosque and called him, saying: 'O Messenger of Allah, the other one has committed adultery,' meaning himself. The Prophet ﷺ turned away from him. He moved to the side of his face that he had turned towards and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the other one has committed adultery.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from him. He moved to the side of his face that he had turned towards and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, the other one has committed adultery.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from him. He moved for the fourth time. When he had testified against himself four testimonies, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called him and said: 'Do you have insanity?' He said: 'No.' Then the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Take him away and stone him.' And he had been married.
