أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَحَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ زَنَا فَشَهِدَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرُجِمَ كَانَ قَدْ أُحْصِنَ زَعَمُوا أَنَّهُ مَاعِزُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ

✧ A man from Aslam came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him that he had committed adultery. He testified against himself four testimonies. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered and he was stoned. He had been married; they claimed that he was Ma'iz b. Malik.
