✧ The issue of recognizing adultery and mentioning the differences regarding 'Ikrimah in the narration of Ma'iz.

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ الْأَسْلَمِيَّ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَاعْتَرَفَ بِالزِّنَا فَقَالَ «لَعَلَّكَ قَبَّلْتَ أَوْ غَمَزْتَ أَوْ نَظَرْتَ»

✧ That the Aslami came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and confessed to adultery, so he said: "Perhaps you kissed, or touched, or looked."
