al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7100

✧ Interpretation of the saying of Allah, Exalted is His glory: "And [they are] those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty." [al-Furqan: 68]

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْكُوفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ الشَّيْخُ الزَّانِي وَالْإِمَامُ الْكَذَّابُ وَالْعَائِلُ الْمُخْتَالُ» وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ شَيْخٌ زَانٍ وَمَلِكٌ كَذَّابٌ وَعَائِلٌ مُسْتَكْبِرٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There are three whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor purify them, and they will have a painful punishment: the old adulterer, the lying ruler, and the arrogant destitute person.” Muhammad b. al-ʿAlāʾ said in his hadith: “An old adulterer, a lying king, and an arrogant poor person.”
