What the Prophet ﷺ said as he passed away, may my father and mother be sacrificed for him

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

أُغْمِيَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي حِجْرِي فَجَعَلْتُ أَمْسَحُهُ وَأَدْعُو لَهُ بِالشِّفَاءِ فَأَفَاقَ فَقَالَ «بَلْ أَسْأَلُ اللهَ الرَّفِيقَ الْأَعْلَى الْأَسْعَدَ مَعَ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ lost consciousness while in my lap, so I began to wipe him and pray for his recovery. He regained consciousness and said: “Rather, I ask Allah for the most exalted companion, the most fortunate, with Jibril, Mikaʾil, and Israfil.”
