أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

لَمَّا افْتَتَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَكَّةَ قَالَ «فِي خُطْبَتِهِ وَفِي الْمَوَاضِحِ خَمْسٌ خَمْسٌ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Ismāʿīl b. Masʿūd
  2. Khālid b. al-Ḥārith
  3. Ḥusayn al-Muʿallim
  4. ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father
  5. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Makkah, he said in his sermon: "And for the clarifying wounds, five, five."
