✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that for the blind eye that is still in its place when it is gouged out, one-third of its diyah is due; for the paralyzed hand when it is cut off, one-third of its diyah; and for the blackened tooth when it is pulled out, one-third of its diyah.
