أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ «قَضَى فِي الْمُكَاتَبِ أَنْ يُودَى بِقَدْرِ مَا عَتَقَ مِنْهُ دِيَةَ الْحَرِّ»

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ "decreed concerning a mukatab that he is to be compensated in proportion to the amount he had paid of his kitabah with the blood money of a free man."
