أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

قَاتَلَ يَعْلَى رَجُلًا فَعَضَّ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ فَانْتَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ فِيهِ فَنَزَعَ ثَنِيَّتُهُ فَاخْتَصَمَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يَعَضُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ كَمَا يَعَضُّ الْفَحْلُ لَا دِيَةَ لَهُ» اللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ بَشَّارٍ

✧ Ya'la fought a man, and one of them bit his companion, and he pulled his hand from his mouth, so his front tooth was removed. They brought their dispute to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "One of you bites his brother as a stallion bites? There is no blood money for him." The wording is that of Ibn Bashshar.
