al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 692

✧ Extend the fingers of the two feet in prostration

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَهَوَى إِلَى الْأَرْضِ سَاجِدًا جَافَى عَضُدَيْهِ عَنْ إِبِطَيْهِ وَفَتِخَ أَصَابِعَ رِجْلَيْهِ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ went down to the ground prostrating, he would keep his upper arms away from his armpits and spread the toes of his feet.
