أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أُمِرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَنُهِيَ أَنْ يَكْفِتَ الشَّعْرَ وَالثِّيَابَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ وَرُكْبَتَيْهِ وَأَطْرَافِ أَصَابِعِهِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ قَالَ لَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ وَأَمَرَّهَا عَلَى أَنْفِهِ قَالَ هَذَا وَاحِدٌ وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ

✧ From Ibn ʿAbbas: The Prophet ﷺ was commanded to prostrate on seven (bones), and he was forbidden to tuck back the hair or the clothes: on his two hands, his two knees, and the tips of his toes. Sufyan said: Ibn Tawus said to us: "And he placed his hand on his forehead and passed it over his nose." He said: "This is one (bone)," and the wording is that of Muhammad.
