✧ Tightening restrictions on drinking in gold and silver vessels.

أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الْفِضَّةِ إِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ»

(the wife of the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He who drinks in silver utensils is only filling his ʿAbdomen with Hell Fire." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5634)
