✧ Prohibition of drinking in vessels made of gold and silver.

أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى

أَنَّ حُذَيْفَةَ ذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَشْرَبُوا فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَلَا تَلْبَسُوا الْحَرِيرَ وَالدِّيبَاجَ فَإِنَّهَا لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَهُمَا لَكُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ»

✧ Hudhayfah mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not drink from vessels of gold and silver, and do not wear silk and brocade. For these are for them (the disbelievers) in this world, and for you in the Hereafter."
