✧ The Good News and the Dates

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ أَنَّ كِلَابَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى أَنْ يُخْلَطَ بَيْنَ الْبُسْرِ وَالرُّطَبِ وَبَيْنَ الزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ» خَالَفَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ

Translation

  6. Abū Salamah
  7. ʿĀʾishah

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited mixing the juice of grapes with the juice of fresh dates and mixing raisins with dates. Ali ibn Mubarak disagreed with him.
