al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 6722

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ طَعَامٌ فَقَالَ «ادْنُهْ يَا بُنَيَّ فَسَمِّ اللهَ وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ» خَالَفَهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ

Translation

  5. ʿUmar b. Abū Salamah

✧ He entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he had food. He said: "Come near, my little son, mention Allah's name, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is near you." Khalid b. al-Harith contradicted him.
