حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ مَدَنِيٌّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ مَدَنِيٌّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ مَدَنِيٌّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَقَامَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَيٍّ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ حَتَّى أَعْرَسَ بِهَا ثُمَّ كَانَتْ فِيمَنْ ضُرِبَ عَلَيْهَا الْحِجَابُ»

✧ He heard Anas say, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed with Safiyyah bt. Huyayy for three days until he consummated the marriage with her, and then she was among those upon whom the veil was imposed.”
