أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ جَابِرًا

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَضَى «أَنَّهُ مَنْ أَعْمَرَ رَجُلًا عُمْرَى لَهُ وَلِعَقِبِهِ فَإِنَّهَا لِلَّذِي أُعْمِرَهَا قَدْ بَتَّهَا مِنْ صَاحِبِهَا الَّذِي أَعْطَاهَا مَا وَقَعَ مِنْ مَوَارِيثِ اللهِ وَحَقِّهِ»

✧ He informed him that the Messenger of God ﷺ ruled, “Whoever gives a man a lifelong gift for him and his descendants, it belongs to the one to whom it was given; he has permanently cut it off from its owner, the one who gave it, in accordance with the inheritance laws of God and His right.”
