أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ يُحَدِّثَانِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ

أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَتَى بِهِ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي نَحَلْتُ ابْنِي غُلَامًا كَانَ لِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَكُلَّ وَلَدِكَ نَحَلْتَهُ؟» قَالَ لَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَارْجِعْهُ»

✧ His father brought him to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: I have given my son a slave that I owned. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Did you give this to all your children?" He said: No. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Then take it back."
