✧ The inheritance of the illegitimate child

أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ رُؤْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ النَّصْرِيِّ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تُحْرِزُ الْمَرْأَةُ ثَلَاثَةَ مَوَارِيثَ عَتِيقَهَا وَلَقِيطَهَا وَوَلَدَهَا الَّذِي تُلَاعِنُ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A woman acquires three inheritances: her freed slave, her foundling, and her child upon whom she invokes a curse.'
