أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرُّهَاوِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ» 6342 أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرُّهَاوِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَالصَّوَابُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الزُّهْرِيِّ تَابَعَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَقَدْ قِيلَ لَهُ فَثَبَتَ عَلَيْهِ؟ وَقَالَ هَذِهِ دَارُهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Muslim does not inherit from the disbeliever.' 6342 Ahmad b. Sulayman al-Ruhawi informed us, he said: Mu'awiyah b. Hisham narrated to us, he said: Malik narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Ali b. Husayn, from Amr b. Uthman, from Usamah b. Zaid, from the Prophet ﷺ, the like of it. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: The correct version from the hadith of Malik is Amr b. Uthman, and we do not know that anyone among the companions of al-Zuhri followed him in that. It was said to him: So he adhered to it? He said: This is his house.
