عَنْ قُتَيْبَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْقَاتِلُ لَا يَرِثُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِسْحَاقُ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ أَخْرَجْتُهُ فِي مَشَايِخِ اللَّيْثِ لِئَلَّا يُتْرَكَ مِنَ الْوَسَطِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The killer does not inherit.' Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Ishaq is matruk al-hadith. I included it among the shaykhs of al-Layth so that it would not be omitted from the middle.
