أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَمَّالُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ الْعُكْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَاشِدَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيْعَةً فَإِلَيَّ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَارِثِهِ وَأَنَا وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ أَفُكُّ عَنْوَهُ وَأَرِثُ مَالَهُ وَالْخَالُ وَلِيُّ مَنْ لَا وَلِيَّ لَهُ يَفُكُّ عَنْوَهُ وَيَرِثُ مَالَهُ»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever leaves a debt or a burden, it comes to me; and whoever leaves wealth, it goes to his heirs. I am the guardian of the one who has no guardian: I pay his ransom and inherit his wealth. The maternal uncle is the guardian of the one who has no guardian: he pays his ransom and inherits his wealth.'
