أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كُنْتُ أَبِيعُ الذَّهَبَ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالذَّهَبِ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «إِذَا بَايَعْتَ صَاحِبَكَ فَلَا تُفَارِقْهُ وَبَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ لَبْسٌ»

✧ I used to sell gold for silver and silver for gold. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him about that. He said: "When you transact with your companion, do not leave him while there is ambiguity between you and him."
