✧ Selling Silver for Gold and Selling Gold for Silver

وَفِيمَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْفِضَّةِ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَالذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ إِلَّا سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَبْتَاعَ الذَّهَبَ فِي الْفِضَّةِ كَيْفَ شِئْنَا وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالذَّهَبِ كَيْفَ شِئْنَا
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from selling silver for silver and gold for gold except equal for equal. And he commanded us to buy gold with silver however we wished, and silver with gold however we wished.
