✧ The sale of wheat until it whitens

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَزْهُوَ وَعَنِ السُّنْبُلِ حَتَّى يَبْيَضَّ وَيَأْمَنَ الْعَاهَةَ نَهَى الْبَائِعَ وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ

Translation

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the sale of palm trees until they ripen, and of ears of grain until they whiten and are safe from blight; he forbade the seller and the buyer.
