✧ Selling fruit before it ripens.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُخَابَرَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَأَنْ يُبَاعَ الثَّمَرُ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ وَأَنْ يُبَاعَ إِلَّا بِالدِّينَارِ وَالدِّرْهَمِ وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ that he prohibited mukhabarah, muzabanah, muhaqalah, and that fruit be sold until its goodness (ripeness) appears, and that it be sold except for dinars and dirhams, and he granted a concession for 'araya.
