أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامٌ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَلَقَّوُا الْجَلْبَ فَمَنْ تَلَقَّاهُ فَاشْتَرَى مِنْهُ فَإِذَا أَتَى سَيِّدُهُ السُّوقَ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not meet the herds being brought to market. Whoever meets them and buys from them, when the owner reaches the marketplace, he has the option (to cancel the sale)."
