أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ

أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ فِي الشَّفْعِ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ فِيهِ فَسَبَّحْنَا فَمَضَى ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ

Translation

✧ He prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he stood up in the even unit in which he intended to sit. We said subḥān Allāh, so he continued. Then he prostrated twice. Abu ‘Abd al-Raḥmān said to us: This is a mistake. The correct is ‘Abdullāh b. Mālik b. Buḥaynah.
