أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَبِي الْأَسْدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أُحَدِّثُكَ حَدِيثًا مَا

أُحَدِّثُهُ كُلَّ أَحَدٍ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَامَ عَلَى بَابٍ وَنَحْنُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ «الْأَئِمَّةُ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَقًّا وَلَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ مَا إِنِ اسْتُرْحِمُوا رَحِمُوا وَإِنْ عَاهَدُوا وَفَوْا وَإِنْ حَكَمُوا عَدَلُوا فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»

✧ I was telling everyone that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood at a door while we were inside and said, "The Imams are from Quraysh. They have a right over you, and you have a right over them: if they are asked for mercy, they show mercy; if they make a covenant, they fulfill it; and if they judge, they are just. Whoever of them does not do that, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people."
