أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ
أَنَّ النِّسَاءَ قُلْنَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ غَلَبَنَا عَلَيْكَ الرِّجَالُ فَاجْعَلْ لَنَا يَوْمًا نَأْتِيكَ فِيهِ فَوَاعَدَهُنَّ مِنَ الْغَدِ فَأَمَرَهُنَّ وَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَقَالَ «مَا مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْكُنَّ يَمُوتُ لَهَا ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ إِلَّا كَانُوا لَهَا حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ» قَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ وَثِنْتَانِ فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ مَاتَ لِي ثِنْتَانِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَثِنْتَانِ»

✧ It was said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Men have taken precedence over us, so appoint a day for us when we can come to you and he advises and delivers sermons to us." He commanded them and advised them, saying, "Any woman among you who loses three children, they will be a barrier for her from the Fire." A woman said, "Even two, O Messenger of Allah." He replied, "Even two."
