أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ قَالَ فَتَخَلَّفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَدْرَكَنَا وَقَدْ رَهِقَتْنَا الصَّلَاةُ «فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ»

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell behind and then caught up with us when the time for prayer had almost overtaken us. The caller of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called out: "Woe to the heels from the Fire!"
