أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنِ ابْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ «مَا كَانَ أَحَدٌ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا مِنِّي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ وَكُنْتُ لَا أَكْتُبُ»

Translation

✧ I heard Abu Hurayrah say, "No one narrated more hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than I, except what was from Abdullah b. Amr, for he used to write and I did not write."
