أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ فُرَافِصَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْعَارِيَةُ مُؤَدَّاةٌ وَالْمَنِيحَةُ مُؤَدَّاةٌ» قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ عَهْدَ اللهِ ﷻ قَالَ «عَهْدُ اللهِ أَحَقُّ مَا أُدِّيَ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “The loan is to be returned, and the gift of a milch animal is to be returned.” A man said, “O Messenger of God, what do you think about the covenant of God ﷻ?” He said, “The covenant of God is the most deserving to be fulfilled.”
